This kind of general groups, however, provide a platform for general discussions and much more.

You can easily connect with like-minded individuals by asking questions like "Is there a group for tennis players in Tallinn?" and receive prompt responses. Nationality-based groups are a convenient way to connect with people who share the same culture, education and traditions as you!

If you want to grab a coffee or meet up with someone of the same nationality, there's likely a group for your country as well.

You can search for relevant keywords in the general groups search bar, or search for specific groups (using your native language can help).

Some examples of these groups include:

Asians in Tallinn

South African in Tallinn / Estonia

If there isn't any for your nationality, you can try to post a message on a general group and ask something like “Hello! Is there a group for **nationality** in Tallinn? If not, how many people would be interested in joining it if I make one?“ And then you can make one :)

3. Saunas

Sauna is a big part of Estonian culture, and it's a great way to socialize with locals. In fact, it happened to me many times to have a pleasant chat with Estonians during a relaxing sauna.

The smaller and more intimate saunas are often the best places to connect with others.

4. Courses/Classes

Taking a course or a class is another excellent way to meet new people. Yoga classes, Estonian language courses, boxing classes, and so on, can be great opportunities to connect with people who share similar interests.
