Best Clubs, Pubs and Bars in Tallinn (Complete Nightlife Guide 2024)

Transport

The most important rule when partying is: don’t drink and drive. Luckily for us, Tallinn has many different ways to move around the city and reach our party/home safe and sound.

Night busses

All night bus routes in Tallinn start at Balti Jaam and connect to outlying areas. The new routes link to Viimsi (Northeast) and Nõmme (South), while existing routes connect to the West (Mustamäe, Väike-Õismäe), East (Lasnamäe), and North (Pelgurand). Buses run every 30 minutes until 4:30 a.m., and travel is free for Tallinn residents.

You can check all the time tables here https://transport.tallinn.ee/#bus/en in advance!

Taxis

With advancements in technology, ordering a taxi has become quick, simple, and accessible for everyone. Services like Bolt, available 24/7, offer a convenient way to get you and your friends home safely at any time of the night.

Walking

It's not an exaggeration—Tallinn is incredibly safe! If you're not too far from home, walking back can be a great option. Enjoy the fresh air, and who knows, you might catch a beautiful sunrise along the way. Plus, it's free and a healthy way to end your night!

Eat before your party!

Before you worry that a dinner and night out might drain your wallet, let me reassure you.

In this article, we've listed some of the best affordable restaurants in Tallinn. Plus, remember that drinking on an empty stomach (or while running low on energy) isn't the best idea—so enjoy a good meal first!
