5 Best Places to have Dinner in Tallinn
After almost 3 years of us living in Tallinn, we have tested various places over and over again with our dates, dinners with family and so on. For this reason, we selected and listed (what we think are) the best places to have dinner in Tallinn.
We like to try different things, so I believe that this list will include at least a place that you’ll like for sure!
For meat lovers - Argentiina
Simply an authentic Argentinian grill. If you like a steak that is juicy, perfectly salted and grill flavoured, then this is definitely a spot you need to visit. While steakhouses might generally be expensive, Argentiina’s prices are reasonable and the choices are enough to make everyone happy.
Recommended dish: Striploin steak.

If you are looking for vegan options - Vegan Restoran V
Vegan Restoran V is one of the first vegan restaurants of Tallinn (and of Estonia in general) menu at V consists solely of plant-based products. You can also find a crazy variety of delicious cakes and muffins. The drinks selection contains juices and smoothies (literally the most delicious I had in Tallinn), premium wines and beers, and more!
Recommended dish: Baked sweet potato with quinoa, crispy tempeh, guacamole and mango sauce.

A quick one - One Sixty
Located in the creative district of Tallinn and founded by a Michelin restaurateur and top chef, One Sixty is not as sophisticated as you might think.
“No fancy glassware or white tablecloths you’re afraid to drop sauce onto. Meat, beer and whiskey” usually is a synonym for “really good burgers, fries and drinks”.
Recommended dish: Southern-Fried Chicken

For pizza enthusiasts - Kolm Tilli
How could we not include a pizza place? I am sure we will surprise you with this one.
It’s not a restaurant but definitely makes the best pizza (and most similar to the authentic italian one) we have eaten in Tallinn so far.
Kolm Tilli in Viru Keskus. Simply wow! The taste, the texture.. It really hits the spot every single time and reminds me of home.
Recommended dish: Pizza Margherita, as it’s the simplest will enable you to fully enjoy the flavours (also, it’s my favourite ehehe).

A different cuisine - Chakra
We are lucky to have such a diversity in Tallinn when it comes to restaurants. There is everything you need to calm your cravings, but what I love the most is Indian food.
Chakra cuisine is the best place in my opinion. The food is simple and really feels homemade - at the same time, the service is excellent and the bill doesn’t hurt your wallet almost at all!
Recommended dish: Murg Tikka Masala
